ABOUT THE ROLE
As a key member of the management team, the Director - Travel reports to the Founder & CEO of Jetex Group of companies. The incumbent is the key point of contact for travel related needs of the company. He/she should maximize all revenue opportunities from existing customers and new customers by ensuring profit.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a strong business relationship with direct travel vendors, such as transportation, hotels, B2B agents, and airlines.
• Analysing and preparing reports on travel spends and profits.
• Reports to the Founder & CEO and submit strategy and implement the approved business plans.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage the Jetex Travel department including the long-term development as well as the day-to-day business of the department.
• Provide the supervision to allow the department to achieve its targets, by monitoring performance, promoting business profitability, developing new business, and effectively utilizing resources.
• Attend travel exhibition when required to develop external partnership and represent the company in the travel industry.
• Achieve the annual sales target as per the set budget.

AUTHORITIES OF THE POSITION

• Establish and maintain an effective sales strategy.
• Negotiate exclusive deals with the travel vendors.
• Supporting with any travel issues that may arise.

REQUIREMENTS
Education

• Bachelor's Degree from recognized University.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field as a Manager.

Specific/Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel).
• Well experienced in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc.).
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Proficient in computer skills (word, excel, power point etc.).
