Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain Security to establish and lead an independent supply chain security and risk function within a complex, regulated environment. This role sits outside of procurement and logistics operations and focuses on security, resilience, governance, and risk oversight across the supply chain.
The role requires strong global security leadership, operating at executive level and partnering closely with procurement, operations, technology, and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the supply chain security and risk strategy, independent from procurement and operations
• Design and implement security, risk, and resilience frameworks across suppliers and third parties
• Oversee threat identification, investigations, incident response, and escalation related to supply chain risk
• Establish governance, assurance, and reporting mechanisms for senior leadership
• Partner with procurement, logistics, technology, legal, and compliance as a second-line oversight function
• Build and lead specialist security and risk teams or operate effectively in lean environments

Required Experience

• Senior leadership experience in global security, risk, intelligence, or resilience functions
• Experience operating across multi-country or international environments
• Strong background in security governance, threat management, and risk frameworks
• Experience in regulated, high-accountability, or sensitive environments
• Executive-level stakeholder engagement and strong communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Supply chain security or supply chain risk experience (e.g. supplier assurance, third-party risk, logistics security oversight, anti-tampering, fraud, insider risk)
• Background in cyber, investigations, intelligence, or operational security
• Experience within government, critical infrastructure, or defense-adjacent sectors
