Job Description

This director-level position is responsible for a given practice focused on a specific industry, product/service line or specialty area. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting engagement, and maintaining customer referenceability. Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Responsible for cultivating Oracle cross-functional communications through the creation and maintenance of strategic relationships with other lines of business . Manages and leads through management team and/or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issues for complex engagements.

Knowledge of product or expertise relevant to area of focus is required with 8+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics, Health Care or related field) Certification required based on area of focus: Registered Nurse - State Board, Pharmacist - State Board, Licensed Medical Doctor - State Board, Licensed Doctor of Osteopathy - State Board, Certified Exercise Physiologist - State Board. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

As a key member of the consulting leadership, the role will be responsible for building strong relationships with C-level executives and key influencers in the healthcare industry. This role will provide consultative services and use their leadership skills to drive change management and influence the client\'s strategy, structure, management, and operations. The candidate will lead strategic clinical discussions with clients to demonstrate the benefits of clinical adoption and optimization, driving increased alignment and value for the client. They will be instrumental in developing reference-able clients by designing strategies that directly impact the client\'s value proposition and support their clinical, financial, and operational goals.

Digital Transformation:

The role will take the lead in developing and executing interventions to understand the business transformation priorities of clients and aligning partnership strategies. They will leverage their subject matter expertise to showcase the transformation capabilities of Oracle Health solutions to client leadership. Keeping up-to-date with the broader relevant landscape in the healthcare industry, the candidate will proactively identify and develop solutions to meet these needs. They will lead comprehensive audits of each module, user interface, clinical data capture, and system behavior before go-live to ensure business transformation goals are met. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for leading quality accreditation efforts through the design and implementation of robust programs, such as JCI and Clinical Care Program Certifications

Consulting Sales Support:

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor in complex sales processes, providing expert solution demonstrations and responding to request for proposal (RFP) questions. They will also bring creativity to the table by generating ideas for the design and development of new solutions and services. Representing Cerner through presentations and networking at important industry events is a key responsibility of the role. The candidate will be accountable for leading cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to advance the clinical vision, objectives, and strategy. Additionally, they will drive organizational and internal team initiatives to ensure successful execution.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
  • Plus 6 years completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
  • At least 2 years of Client relationship management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master\'s degree in Healthcare or Public health
  • Oracle Health or Cerner Millennium experience
