The
Director of IT Project Management & Business Partnership
leads the organization's IT project portfolio, ensuring all technology initiatives align with business objectives and deliver measurable value. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and fostering strong collaboration between IT and business units to drive digital transformation, operational efficiency, and innovation.Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute IT project management strategies aligned with business goals. Serve as the main liaison between IT and business leaders to identify and deliver technology-driven opportunities. Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Manage the IT demand process and project portfolio, prioritizing based on business impact. Lead project governance, steering committees, and performance reporting. Develop RFPs/RFIs and evaluate vendors. Establish and enforce PMO frameworks (PMP, Agile, etc.). Drive process automation, system optimization, and data-driven decisions. Lead change management and ensure successful adoption of new systems. Maintain project documentation and promote a collaborative, business-focused IT culture.
A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is an advantage.
