IT Project Manager
Department: Digital Business Transformation / Project Management & Product Delivery Reports To: Head of IT
Execution & Delivery

• Lead cross-functional teams (Underwriting, Policy Services, Claims, Broker/Agency, Re-Insurance).
• Coordinate implementation of core insurance systems such as policy administration, claims, billing, and partner portals.
• Monitoring & Reporting
• Track KPIs: schedule adherence, budget variance, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide status reports to senior management and regulators when required.

Risk & Compliance Management

• Identify and mitigate risks related to data privacy, medical records security, and insurance regulations.
• Closure & Continuous Improvement
• Obtain sign-offs from stakeholders and ensure knowledge transfer to operations teams.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project-management experience, with at least 2 years in medical or health-insurance projects.
• Strong knowledge of health-insurance processes: Quotation generation, policy issuance, policy amendment, claims processing.
• Proficiency with project-management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools (Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• Experience with health-insurance core systems as well as portals
