Role Purpose:
The director of ERP is responsible for development, and implementation SAP S4 Hana System across all operating countries of MAF Retail. In addition will be responsible for successful implementation and post go live management of SAP Enterprise Warehouse Management System (EWM) within UAE and later across other countries with a MAF distribution center. This individual will be responsible for defining and leading initiatives to improve all aspects of business process, solution and application integration within and outside utilizing SAP for Operations functions (Finance, Store Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, CAR).
The Director of ERP shall provide leadership in the implementing ERP strategies, ensuring the flow of operations and coordinate with senior leadership to carry out change management, project planning, resource allocation, and team management.
Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Role Summary
Design, improve and implement robust and controlled business process solutions for Operations functions utilizing SAP and supporting systems to ensure effective integration with other business functions and applications
Oversee the development and implementation of solutions that ensure data consistency and availability. Ensure the Master Data Governance policies, guidelines and day to day execution is effective and efficient.
Lead teams of SAP Functional Consultants and other project team members from the business in the delivery of critical projects which require end to end process and technical expertise based on best practices, business process and SAP expertise.
Functional consultant in S/4HANA supply chain area (procurement, planning manufacturing and logistics)
Lead the production support activity for existing ERP implementation.
End to End management and co-ordination of the project, and the successful completion of the project
Ensure project deadlines and schedules are met; ensure project team members prioritize multiple tasks effectively and understand the components of running a successful project.
Based on schedule for the project, set time lines for each member of the team and delegate specific task to each members of the project
Predict risk factors and eliminate it for the successful completion of the project
Maintain complete authority over the ERP initiative to meet the business\'s needs.
Regularly work with senior leadership to implement change management, project planning, resource allocation, steering committee leadership.
Oversee technical design specifications, define test conditions, develop accurate and complete test plans and conduct/coordinate testing according to plan following all change control processes.
Lead and resolve ERP related service issues to ensure end user satisfaction.
Lead development & support activities for web applications that interface with ERP.
Oversee the identification and maintenance of training requirements with respect to existing or new technologies from SAP.
Develop leadership across SAP and supply chain
Human Capital Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior management
Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
Provide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
Develop and implement on the job-training for the team
Provide inputs for the development of annual manpower plan
Ensure the implementation of MAF Retail\'s corporate policies and relevant procedures
Financial Responsibilities
Ensure alignment of procedures in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA)
Provide budgets to the management for the upcoming financial year.
Assist in monitoring allocated budget to ensure compliance and highlight possible issues
Provide inputs on cost reduction measures

Qualification, Experience & Skills:
Minimum Qualifications/education
Bachelor\'s degree in Information technology, computer science, engineering or a related field
Master\'s degree is a plus
Minimum Experience
Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP in the field of Operations Management, Supply Chain.
Experience in FMCG Retail is mandatory.
Minimum one successful implementations, completion and healthy running of an SAP S4 ERP system
5+ years of experience managing a SAP Functional team
Knowledge in Supply Chain is a must
