Overview:
Seeking a seasoned Director - IT Infrastructure with a proven track record to oversee the implementation, plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, cloud computing, DevOps tools, data communications, and telecommunications systems across G42 and its Business Units.

Reporting to the Senior Group Director, you will be responsible for the implementation and management of the overall IT Infrastructure for G42 and its Business Units.

Functional:
- Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
- Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the executive team.
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services.
- Oversee vendor monitoring assessment to ensure the adequacy of controls executed by vendors.
- Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures.
- Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, and, but not limited to, Cloud Computing.
- Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
- Manage operational costs; conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.
- Manage operations staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee operations-related projects and project portfolio.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems, including networks, data centers, servers, PCs, operating systems, and associated hardware.
- Guide the development of processes that identify, assess, monitor, and control risks for setting appropriate internal control policies, and for monitoring their effectiveness and adequacy.
- Facilitate internal and external assessments/audits conducted by internal auditors, regulatory bodies and other organizations as required.
- Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities.

To qualify, you must have
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellence.
- At least 7 years of experience in years successful leadership of an infrastructure team, Internet of Things, Cloud data services and DevOps management
Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also need
- In-depth understanding of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
- A knowledge of DevOps platforms and services.
- Proficient in Cloud computing (including related services), VMware, Azure Stack, Cloud, IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
- Certifications on MCSA/MCSE, Project management ITIL, Togaf/Cobit, CISM.
- A meticulous and organized mind with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound and logical judgments.
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
