Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

Planning and organization

Responsible for developing risk management strategies and an integrated risk management framework within eitc, in consultation with the Chief Regulatory & Shared Services Officer. Oversee the design and implementation of risk management frameworks across eitc. Provide overall leadership, vision, and direction for the implementation of the risk management framework, policies, and mitigation strategies executed by the Operations team within eitc. Develop a comprehensive process to assess, identify, monitor, and mitigate risks that may impact the company's purpose and objectives, while ensuring appropriate guidelines are in place to establish accountability and enable timely corrective actions, if required

Reporting

Timely reporting to Chief Regulatory & Shared Services Officer on the effective implementation of the risk management framework within eitc. Coordinate the Company risk management efforts, outline risks and controls for senior management and submit recommendations. Report to the Audit Committee and Executive Committee (ExCo) on key risk exposures, emerging risks to ensure overall effectiveness of the risk management framework.

Training

Foster a risk-aware culture by promoting clearly defined risk tolerance levels and driving awareness through educational programs, training initiatives, and active engagement with senior executives, business unit management, and employees across eitc.

Others

Assess and continuously enhance the risk management ecosystem including budget allocation, resource capacity, analytical tools, systems, and reporting mechanisms to ensure alignment with the organization's risk oversight requirements and strategic objectives

Qualifications:

Master's Degree or MBA in finance, accounting and law Professional Certifications like GRCP, CRM, CRP, ISO 31000 risk management Certification or similar certification. Affiliation or membership with recognized risk management professional bodies and/ or with relevant technical certifications.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management and/or compliance, governance, audit.

Skills:

Excellent understanding of the telecom industry. Strong knowledge of risk management principles and best practices. Ability to engage professionally and persuasively with senior management and team members to foster a robust risk-aware culture across EITC. Adequate expertise in risk analysis, database management, and related technical areas. Strategic thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels. Exceptional influencing, negotiation, and motivational abilities. Proven capability to listen, advise, and counsel senior leaders effectively. Demonstrated strong track record in telecom technologies and associated operational processes. Skilled in supervising and training employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. Competent in compiling and interpreting complex market data and preparing clear evaluative reports and correspondence. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to allocate resources and set priorities efficiently.
