About the Direct Tax Service Line

The Direct Tax service line at Grant Thornton UAE provides strategic tax advisory, compliance, and risk management services related to corporate tax, transfer pricing, and international tax matters. Our team helps businesses navigate complex tax landscapes, ensuring compliance while optimizing tax efficiency. We proactively support clients in managing tax risks, structuring cross-border transactions, and resolving complex tax challenges.

As a Director some of your responsibilities will include:

Building strong client relationships, understanding their business needs, and delivering value-driven tax solutions Advising clients on corporate tax strategies, transfer pricing, and international tax compliance Leading complex tax projects, including structuring, risk assessments, and dispute resolution Staying ahead of evolving tax regulations and proactively guiding clients on changes that impact them Developing high-quality tax reports and presentations for senior stakeholders Managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of growth and excellence

Skills

7+ years of experience in Direct Tax, Corporate Tax, or International Tax Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA, or equivalent) Strong technical expertise in corporate tax laws, transfer pricing, and international tax frameworks Experience in the GCC or international tax environment is highly desirable Proven ability to advise clients on complex tax matters, structuring, and compliance Exceptional leadership and business development skills to drive growth and client relationships Strong written and spoken English Flexibility to travel and work additional hours when required
