Role Overview
The Digital & Ecommerce Executive will be responsible for supporting and driving GMP's digital and ecommerce operations across web and app platforms. The role involves day-to-day management of online product listings, promotions, customer engagement, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment. The candidate will play a key role in enhancing customer experience and maximizing online sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ecommerce Operations
Manage day-to-day ecommerce store operations including product uploads, pricing, stock availability, and promotions.
Ensure product catalog accuracy (images, descriptions, SKUs, pricing).
Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure stock synchronization and timely fulfillment.
2. Online Sales & Growth
Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and traffic analytics.
Assist in implementing promotional campaigns, bundles, and discounts to drive online revenue.
Suggest initiatives to increase average basket size and customer retention.
3. Digital Marketing Support
Coordinate with the marketing team to execute campaigns (emailers, push notifications, social media integrations).
Optimize website content for SEO and improve visibility on search engines.
Support in performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and track ROI.
4. Customer Experience & Engagement
Handle customer queries, feedback, and escalations through ecommerce platforms.
Ensure a seamless UX across desktop and mobile applications.
Monitor reviews/ratings and propose improvements for customer satisfaction.
5. Analytics & Reporting
Track KPIs: traffic, sales, abandoned cart rates, repeat purchase rates.
Generate weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
Benchmark performance against industry trends in UAE ecommerce and beverages.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field.
4-5 years of experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, preferably retail. Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi/UAE retail and alcohol industry is a plus.
Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc).
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM tools.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
