Responsibilities:

Provides office follow up of bariatric surgery patients;
Participates in community outreach activities regarding Legacy's bariatric surgery services;
Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion;
Provides consultation on bariatric surgical issues;
Participates on relevant committees as requested;
Provides bariatric surgery coverage on an "on-call" capacity for Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital;
Participates in Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs as appropriate for clinical practice.

Requirements:

Medical License and DEA;
Membership on LPH Medical Staff;
Completion of general surgery residency;
Two years' experience or fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery preferred;
Board certified or board eligible in general surgery;
Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent;
Follows guidelines set forth in Legacy's Values in Action.
