DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer We are seeking a skilled DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our native cloud environment. you will be responsible for managing and orchestrating containerized applications using Kubernetes as the primary orchestration tool. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure efficient deployment, scaling, and management of our containerized applications. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a native cloud environment using containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Define and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Configure and manage networking capabilities within the Kubernetes environment to ensure seamless communication between containers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot containerized applications, utilizing logging, monitoring, and metrics tools integrated with Kubernetes.
- Develop and implement security measures to protect sensitive data within the containerized environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the container orchestration strategy and infrastructure.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with native cloud environments and containerization.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience configuring networking in Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and metrics tools integrated with Kubernetes, such as Prometheus or Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a containerized environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Kubernetes, such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Experience with other container orchestration tools like Docker Swarm or Apache Mesos.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of security best practices for containerized environments.
- Experience with other cloud services, such as databases, message queues, or object storage.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
