Expro are currently recruiting for a Development Skills Trainer to join the Human Resources team based in Dubai.
Overall Purpose of the Job
To develop, maintain and deliver the global leadership and management program and associated skills training to support the development of Expro\'s workforce within a defined geographic area.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
Assist Group L&D in creating training content as required to meet the needs of the organisation. This may require collaboration with external training providers and participation in tendering exercises as required.
Work with Group L&D team to review and tailor training to ensure the material is culturally appropriate for delivery in assigned Region. Prepare translations of material as necessary.
Assist in the evaluation of all training and participate in continuous improvement of training material; conduct assessment of course objectives against student performance.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on training needed to meet individual development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
Deliver Global Leadership and Management program and associated skills training via online and in person workshops. Actively engage employees with diverse learning styles and cultures in a positive, energetic and professional manner to ensure meaningful learning and effective transfer of knowledge.
Support Group or Regional Trainers with delivery of training as required.
Identify further training needs highlighted during workshops and feedback to Group L&D and Region L&D BP
Where required, coordinate scheduling of training programmes and instructor activities and arrange materials to be available
Compile training reports for management and provide data as required on progress towards KPI goals
Make regular country/base/facility visits to build and maintain relationships with managers and employees and to monitor customer satisfaction with Global Leadership and Management program and associated training. Deliver presentations and provide training for managers and/or employees to promote the Global L& M program as necessary
Collaborate on Group or Region projects as required.
Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro\'s reputation is minimised. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes, and systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures.
Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the Safety House Rules.
Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
Flexible and able to travel internationally.
Fluency in English plus 1 or 2 additional languages appropriate for geographic area of responsibility beneficial.
Proficient in MS Office applications
Experience in training internationally (online & in person)
Experience in developing and delivering leadership and management training
Experience in coaching, facilitation, and presentation.
Knowledge and passion for developing people and a full understanding of the learning cycle.
Psychometric qualification preferred.
Coaching qualification preferred (ICF or equivalent)
CIPD or equivalent qualification
