The Designer is responsible for preparing detailed joinery shop drawings, 3D layouts, and production-ready designs. This role ensures accurate technical documentation for both client approvals and workshop manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed shop drawings, cutting lists, and technical documentation.
Develop 2D/3D designs based on client requirements and architectural drawings.
Coordinate with estimators, project coordinators, and production teams.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and manufacturing capabilities.
Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and site requirements.
Ensure accurate measurements and material specifications.
Provide technical design support throughout project execution.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 2 years' experience in joinery design or fit-out drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or similar software is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, materials, and hardware.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and prepare shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
