Role Overview
This is a temporary short-term contract for 6 months, teaching Design Technology to pupils between 11 to 18 years old using the IB curriculum. There is a possibility the contract could be extended.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB curriculum, teaching to DP level.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Education or Bachelors degree in a relevant / related subject supported with a Post Graduate Teaching Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience post qualification.
• Previous international experience is welcomed.
• MUST be UAE based currently to be able to take up the post immediately.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school environment.
• Teachers with previous IB curriculum experience are favoured.
• Teachers who share the IB philosophies of student-centred inquiry-based learning may be considered, especially if you have previously taught in an "Outstanding" school.
