Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Design & Project Coordinator to oversee and manage the coordination between design development and project execution for interior fit-out and renovation works. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between clients, consultants, in-house design teams, and site/project execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all design-related activities between clients, consultants, design teams, and site teams. Review, interpret, and manage drawings, layouts, material specifications, and design approvals. Support the project team in planning, scheduling, and tracking design deliverables. Ensure that all designs comply with project requirements, budgets, and timelines. Assist in the preparation of presentations, mood boards, and sample submittals for client approvals. Act as a key point of contact for clarifications, modifications, and design intent throughout the project lifecycle. Follow up on authority approvals and compliance requirements (e.g., DDA, Trakhees, DEWA, Nakheel etc.). Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials and finishes match design expectations. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and provide design input and support where necessary. Track design changes and ensure timely communication and documentation of variations. Assist with handover documentation, as-built drawings, and project close-out.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field. 3-6 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out, refurbishment, or renovation projects in the UAE. Solid understanding of design principles, materials, finishes, and project coordination. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, and project tracking tools; knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools is a plus. Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and submission protocols. Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs. Fluency in English Arabic is an advantage. UAE driving license preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience in high-end residential or villa renovation projects. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or similar). Eye for detail and quality with a passion for interiors and functional design solutions. Hands-on experience in using ZOHO projects. Experience in handling design coordination for luxurious villas and apartments.
