Key Working Relationship - Technical Manager / Team Leader
Minimum Required Qualifications
Specialty:Conduct systematic value analysis and value engineering studies
Identify cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality
Develop alternative design solutions that optimize performance and minimize expenses
Perform detailed cost-benefit analyses
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, procurement)
EducationBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Training / AwarenessAdvanced structural analysis techniques
Cost-Benefit Analysis techniques

Risk Assessment Methodologies
Technical knowledge
Proficiency in cost estimation techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of: Engineering principles, Manufacturing processes, Cost management, Design optimization
Strong structural engineering fundamentals
Advanced understanding of national and international construction standards, including BS, EN, and ISO regulations
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings
Understanding of compliance reporting and record-keeping requirements
Ability to generate comprehensive reports and present findings effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to various stakeholders
Experience
Minimum 8 years' experience of value engineering experience in construction, Infrastructure development, civil engineering projects, Industrial facility construction, renovation and restoration works
Responsibilities / Authorities / AccountabilitiesPrimary Functions
Analyze existing product designs
Generate innovative cost-reduction proposals
Create detailed cost 3D and 2D models
Evaluate alternative materials and manufacturing methods
Develop prototypes for proposed design improvements
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations
