Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Design Manager
with a strong background inDrafting, BIM Modeling, and Design Coordination
to lead and manage design deliverables across civil and architectural projects. The role involves overseeingBIM Modelers and Draftsmen
, ensuring design accuracy, coordination, compliance with project requirements, and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage
BIM Modelers and Draftsmen
(Civil / Architectural / Landscape). Review and approveshop drawings, IFC drawings, BIM models, and coordination models
. Ensure compliance withproject specifications, local authority regulations, and BIM standards
. Coordinate withconsultants, engineers, and project teams
to resolve design and clash issues. Managedesign schedules
, drawing submissions, and revisions. Implement and monitorBIM execution plans (BEP)
and workflows. Conductdesign coordination and clash detection
using Navisworks or similar tools. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance monitoring for the design team. Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives. Ensure proper document control and version management.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Civil Engineering / Architecture
(mandatory).7+ years of UAE experience
inDesign Manager / Design Lead role
. Strong hands-on experience with:Revit (Structure / Architecture)
AutoCAD
Navisworks (clash detection)
BIM 360 / ACC (preferred) Strong understanding ofUAE authority standards
(DM, DDA, Trakhees, ADM, etc.). Ability to managemulti-disciplinary design teams
. Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.Preferred Experience
Experience in
contracting or design-build environments
. Strong background inshop drawings and construction-stage design support
. Exposure toISO 19650 BIM standards
. Experience managinglarge-scale projects
(Residential / Commercial / Infrastructure).Employment Details
