About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Design Manager - Architecture (Technical)

to lead and coordinate design efforts on complex architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have

5-7 years of experience

in architectural design and technical delivery, with a strong focus on design development, detailing, and coordination across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design development process from concept to construction documentation, ensuring technical excellence. Manage project timelines, design deliverables, and coordination with consultants and internal teams. Provide strong technical oversight on detailing, code compliance, and construction methods. Review and guide the preparation of architectural drawings, models, and specifications. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure fully integrated designs. Communicate design intent and progress clearly to clients, consultants, and stakeholders. Mentor junior architects and technical staff, promoting best practices and technical accuracy. Lead QA/QC processes to ensure documentation quality and reduce design risk.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution. 5-7 years of relevant experience in architectural design and technical coordination. Strong understanding of building codes, standards, materials, and construction practices. Proficiency in BIM tools such as

Revit

,

AutoCAD

, and coordination platforms like

Navisworks

. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Prior experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL). Exposure to design-build or fast-track project environments.
