Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and creative
Design Manager
to lead and oversee the design team, ensuring the successful execution of design projects from concept to completion. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on design expertise. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, project management, and clients to deliver innovative and functional design solutions.Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design process for facade and structural steel projects Review and approve detailed drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication documents Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, relevant codes, and safety standards Coordinate closely with project, production, and site teams to ensure execution aligns with design intent Optimize designs for structural integrity, cost-efficiency, and ease of fabrication/installation Supervise draftsmen and external consultants; ensure accuracy and quality of all design outputs Utilize design tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and others as needed Interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into workable solutions Maintain organized design documentation and manage revision control
