About the Role
We are looking for a
proactive and innovative Design Manager
to lead our
Aluminum and Facade Design
team. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire design lifecycle--from concept through execution--ensuring the delivery of
high-quality, cost-efficient, and technically sound facade solutions
that meet project objectives, budgets, and timelines. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex design coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the facade design team across multiple concurrent projects.
Review, validate, and approve
technical drawings, shop drawings, and design submissions
.
Collaborate with
architects, consultants, structural engineers, and contractors
to ensure facade systems integrate seamlessly with architectural and structural designs.
Conduct and facilitate
design coordination meetings
and respond to client and consultant requirements.
Provide
technical guidance and troubleshooting
during the design and execution phases.
Oversee the preparation and standardization of
shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation plans
.
Ensure all designs comply with
UAE building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
.
Promote
innovation and continuous improvement
by researching new materials, systems, and technologies.
Streamline design workflows to improve
quality, efficiency, and cost control
.
Foster professional growth within the team through
mentorship, coaching, and knowledge sharing
.
Maintain updated
technical documentation, design standards, and material libraries
