Lead and oversee the facade design team across multiple ongoing projects.
Review, validate, and approve technical drawings, design calculations, and submissions.
Provide expert input on system design, material selection, and performance optimization.
2. Coordination & Collaboration
Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure design integration and compliance.
Participate in project design meetings and address technical issues aligned with client and consultant expectations.
Support project execution teams with design clarifications and technical input during construction stages.
3. Technical Documentation
Supervise the preparation of shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation layouts.
Ensure design deliverables comply with
UAE building codes, international standards,
and project specifications.
Maintain a library of standardized design documentation, templates, and technical references.
4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Research and implement innovative facade systems, sustainable materials, and digital design tools.
Develop and refine design processes to improve productivity and accuracy.
Stay updated on facade engineering trends, materials science, and modeling software advancements.
5. Team Development
Mentor and train junior designers and draftsmen to build technical expertise within the team.
Conduct design reviews, performance appraisals, and skill enhancement sessions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in
Architecture, Civil Engineering,
or
Mechanical Engineering
(Master's preferred).
10-15 years
of experience in aluminum and facade system design, with at least
3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Proven experience in
high-rise, commercial, or complex facade
projects within the
UAE or GCC region.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino,
and 3D modeling or analysis software.
