Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Design Manager specialized in Aluminum and Facade systems to lead the technical design team for large-scale construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering innovative, efficient, and code-compliant facade solutions while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the technical design team for aluminum and facade projects from concept through to final execution.
Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations in compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
Review and approve design submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
Provide technical support during procurement, manufacturing, and installation phases to resolve design-related issues.
Conduct risk assessments and value engineering exercises to optimize design solutions.
Stay updated on the latest facade technologies, materials, and industry best practices.
Mentor and guide junior designers and engineers to improve team capability and productivity.
Ensure all design activities adhere to project timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in aluminum and facade technical design within construction projects, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region.
Strong knowledge of aluminum systems, curtain wall, cladding, glass facades, and related materials.
Proficient with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and structural analysis tools.
Excellent understanding of local codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, ADSSC, ASTM, EN standards).
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
