This role requires deep technical expertise, creative problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership to manage the full design cycle from concept to execution. The successful candidate will ensure designs align with architectural intent, comply with relevant standards, and meet project timelines and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership & Management
Lead and oversee the facade design team across multiple projects simultaneously.
Review and approve technical drawings and design proposals to ensure precision, innovation, and functionality.
Provide expert guidance on material selection, constructability, and value engineering.

Cross-Disciplinary Coordination
Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and main contractors to ensure seamless facade integration.
Attend client and consultant meetings to align design outputs with project expectations.
Support construction teams with technical expertise during installation and execution phases.

Technical Documentation
Supervise the development of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details.
Ensure all design documentation complies with international and local building codes, safety standards, and performance criteria.
Standardize technical templates and maintain a library of facade system specifications.

Innovation & Process Optimization
Research and implement advanced materials and facade technologies.
Lead initiatives for continuous design process improvement, cost-efficiency, and design quality enhancement.
Stay informed of global trends in facade design, materials, and performance systems.

Team Development & Performance
Mentor junior designers and drafters to build team capabilities and ensure technical excellence.
Review individual and team output, providing structured feedback and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and creative design environment focused on innovation and quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in
Architecture
,
Civil Engineering
, or
Mechanical Engineering
(Master's degree preferred).
10-15 years
of experience in aluminum facade system design, with a
minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
.
Proven track record of delivering
high-rise, commercial, or iconic facade projects
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
,
Revit
,
Rhino
, or similar 3D modeling and drafting tools.
Familiarity with facade system structural behavior, wind load calculations, thermal and acoustic performance standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
