We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative
Design Manager - Aluminum & Facade
to lead and manage the design team for high-performance facade systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in aluminum and facade engineering, with experience in managing design processes from concept to execution while ensuring alignment with architectural vision, project timelines, and budget constraints.
Lead the facade and aluminum system design team on multiple concurrent projects.
Review and approve design proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and aesthetic integrity.
Provide guidance on design challenges, material selection, and constructability.
2. Coordination & Collaboration
Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate facade systems into overall building design.
Attend design coordination meetings and ensure client requirements are met.
Support the project team with technical inputs during execution stages.
3. Technical Documentation
Oversee the preparation of detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
Ensure compliance with international and local building codes, standards, and performance specifications.
Develop and maintain design standards, templates, and technical submittals.
4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Research and introduce innovative facade solutions and materials.
Drive improvements in design processes, quality, and efficiency.
Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies in facade engineering.
5. Team Development
Mentor and develop junior designers and draftsmen.
Review work and provide constructive feedback to support technical growth.
Evaluate team performance and ensure continuous development.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
10-15 years of experience in aluminum facade system design, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong portfolio of high-rise, commercial, or landmark facade projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or other 3D modeling tools.
Familiarity with structural analysis and thermal performance of facade systems.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
