Job Description
Design Manager - Construction
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all design activities across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines. Ensure designs meet client requirements, statutory regulations, budget, and programme. Lead design planning, reviews, and coordination meetings. Control design changes and manage interfaces between design and construction teams. Support construction with design clarifications, RFIs, shop drawings, and technical submissions. Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders. Identify and mitigate design-related risks while ensuring quality and buildability.
Requirements:
Strong technical background in construction design management. Proven experience delivering projects from concept to construction. Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and contracts.
