Design Engineer (mechanical)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop
fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, suppression systems) in compliance with NFPA, QCDD, and other relevant codes
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design integrity and project alignment Conduct site visits and technical evaluations to support design implementation Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and specifications Ensure compliance with Qatari Civil Defense requirements and facilitate approvalsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum
2 years of experience
in designing fire protection systemsUPDA Certification
is mandatory Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software Strong understanding of NFPA standards and QCDD procedures Excellent communication and coordination skillsJob Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
Fire Protection Systems: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* UPDA (Preferred)
