Job Description

• Develop detailed designs for security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, etc.) based on client requirements and site surveys.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimations, including bills of materials, labor, and other project expenses, ensuring profitability.
• Create comprehensive technical proposals and presentations that effectively communicate system designs and benefits to potential clients.
• Conduct thorough site surveys to assess project scope, identify potential challenges, and gather necessary information for design.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to integrate security systems effectively within the overall building design.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant codes/regulations to ensure designs are current and compliant.
• Provide technical support to the installation team, resolving any design-related issues and ensuring proper system implementation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of designs, estimations, and project documentation for future reference and reporting purposes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a strong foundation is key.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the design and estimation of ELV security systems; hands-on experience matters.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software; your ability to create detailed drawings is crucial.
• Strong understanding of security system components (cameras, access control panels, etc.) and their functionalities.
• Experience with designing systems for various industries (commercial, residential, etc.); versatility is valued.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; articulate your ideas effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., NFPA, local regulations); compliance is non-negotiable.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines; organization and time management are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; you should be able to identify and resolve complex design challenges.
