Job Description

• Develop detailed security system designs, including system architecture diagrams, equipment layouts, and bill of materials, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Perform accurate cost estimations for security projects, encompassing labor, materials, and other associated expenses, to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
• Conduct site surveys to assess existing security infrastructure, identify potential vulnerabilities, and gather necessary information for design and estimation.
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals and bid responses, effectively communicating the proposed security solutions and their benefits to potential clients.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest security technologies, industry trends, and regulations to provide cutting-edge solutions.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and other project documents to create accurate designs and estimations.
• Provide technical support to project teams during the installation and commissioning phases, resolving any design-related issues.
• Manage and maintain project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including local, national, and international requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
• Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) or similar, demonstrating industry expertise.
• Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in the security industry, with a focus on design and estimation.
• Has a proven track record of designing and estimating security solutions for commercial and/or government clients.
• Exhibits in-depth knowledge of various security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.
• Shows proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools, for creating detailed system layouts and drawings.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical challenges.
• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
• Is detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Displays a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality designs and estimations.
