JOB TITLE: DEPUTY MANAGER \xe2\x80\x93 MATERIALS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Technical Authority review & technical integrity check of Key Material Documents like Fluid Lists, Piping Material Specifications, Valve Data Sheets, Review of Technical Bid Evaluations for Projects.
- Attending to Value Engineering Workshop and leading to successful implementation of Value Engineering points.
- Identifying project risk through Line of Sight and mitigation through Line-of-Sight closeout.
- Review of implementation of applicable Lesson Learnt throughout the project cycle.
- Focus on prompt response to Site query.
- To maintain good communication with team through collaborative approach.
- Exhibit strong leadership and soft skills to excel in work share environment.
- To focus on piping bulk delivery and piping prefabrication activity.
- To focus along with VEC on design development to meet or beat the proposal estimation.
- Engage Construction, Commissioning & Operation teams for their inputs & reviews early on projects.
- Work clearly as per the interface between Head Office & VEC.
- Coordinate with Procurement team for prioritizing orders which are crucial to obtain critical data for engineering.
- Effective material control for bulks.
- Closely monitor all MCMS module rollout on Projects & implementation of all Design Optimization initiatives on the Project. Monitor adherence to QMS.
- Review Start-up Job Notes & work process related Job Notes with Project Deputy Lead.
- Assist HOD in developing strategies for continuous improvement of knowledge base, cost consciousness, quality and safety in response to demands of EPC business.
- Provide feedback to HOD for the employee performance evaluations, establish performance criteria, identify employee strengths & weaknesses and recommend training & development requirements.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- In depth Knowledge of International Codes & Standards, ASTM Specifications & ASME B 31.3 /31.4/31.8/31.12 Codes & Local Regulations, GOST /SNIP Standards / Algerian Codes.
- In depth Knowledge & Experience in Piping Material Specification, Data Sheet of Valves & SP items, High Pressure Piping Chapter IX, Calculations (Internal, External Pipe Wall Thickness & Branch Pipe Connection Reinforcement), Field Engineering Support, Material Management Packages like VPRM/ERM, Procurement Interface, Vendor TQ\'s & TBE\'s for all Piping Items, MTO & Piping Material Management, Proposal Engineering, Technical Supply Requirements (Bulks & Valves) & other Specifications, Non Metallic Procurement & Calculation GRE/HDPE/PVC, Procurement of Valves, Bulks & SP items, CRA Cladded Piping, Vendor Drawing Review, Material & Purchase Requisitions for all Piping Items.
