Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA (or equivalent) is strongly preferred
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
Prior experience within a QCB-regulated exchange house, bank, or financial institution is mandatory
Proven exposure to regulatory reporting, financial controls, and compliance standards
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and MIS.
Ensure compliance with QCB regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Monitor cash flows, reconciliations, and treasury-related activities.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.
Strengthen internal controls and support risk management initiatives.
Supervise and mentor junior finance staff as required.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with banking/exchange house operations and controls.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
