Position Summary:

The Deputy Executive Manager (Construction Sector) supports overseeing and managing all aspects of construction operations, from project planning and execution to team leadership, budgeting, compliance, and client coordination. The role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to high-quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and executing the strategic and operational plans of the Construction Sector. Supervise project execution to ensure compliance with approved engineering and quality standards. Coordinate with various internal departments (Engineering, Contracts, Procurement, Finance, HR) to ensure operational integration. Review and report on project KPIs and performance metrics to the Executive Manager. Support high-level decision-making and provide strategic technical and managerial recommendations. Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, and suppliers as required. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to quality, safety, and risk management. Oversee the evaluation and development of human capital within the construction division.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 5 years in a senior management or executive role.

Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction regulations, especially in Sharjah.

Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational skills. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and industry best practices. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
