Context:
Deputy Construction Project Manager
Missions/Main Duties:
Support the Construction Project Manager in the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion
Lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives
Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting
Conduct risk management and mitigation strategies, proactively addressing site challenges
Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and the client's standards
Foster a collaborative environment with all project participants, promoting best practice in project execution and communication
Profile/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in construction project management
Demonstrated management experience overseeing large-scale infrastructure works, preferably within the railway sector
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
FIDIC knowledge of FIDIC.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with proven capacity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams
Willingness and ability to travel regularly between Cairo and Alexandria in accordance with project demands
