Our Client A leading retail group in the UAE have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Deputy CEO to join their team based in Dubai.
Your Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
- Working with the board and other executives, you will leading and develop the overall business strategy ensuring high quality business strategies are implemented
- Oversees the organization\xe2\x80\x99s financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of the company
- Lead the ROI review and prioritization of large volumes of project plans to ensure they are aligned with the overall business strategy & roadmap
- Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company\xe2\x80\x99s legality and business ethics
- Negotiates with other companies regarding actions such as mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures Serve as the company\xe2\x80\x99s representative to the board of directors, shareholders, employees, customers, the government and public
- Bachelors and Masters degree educated
- Proven experience as a CEO/CFO in an established organisation
- Retail industry experience, working at corporate office level is essential. Experience working in a family group environment is beneficial
- Must have a very good exposure to national & international markets and its commercial activities
- Proven experience of developing high quality profitable strategies, implementing visions & understanding corporate businesses functions and corporate governance Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a strong level of gravitas and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
