Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: Plan, lead and manage the maximizing of the earnings and performance from all the company assets including service stations, corporate and manufacturing facilities and assets while working in collaboration with business to measure the asset performance and return, integrating technologies to eliminate inefficiencies, exploiting synergies across different business division to maximize the overall realization and optimize cost. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Job Specific Accountabilities Asset Optimization Oversee the development and preparation of the Asset Strategy and the Strategic Asset Management plans, asset service levels, asset policies and lifecycle processes to ensure asset longevity, optimal performance and utilization. Ensure Asset Optimization team closely work with user department to monitor ADNOC Distribution assets and facilities usage/ utilization, performance is in line with the Strategic Asset Management Plan. Oversee and guide in development of various asset optimization studies, quantitative models etc. to appropriately ascertain the asset performance and returns. Validate and scrutinize new optimization opportunities proposed by the team, including assessing the cost-benefit analysis, soundness of the assumptions, alignment with overall strategy before taking it forward to senior management for further action and approval. Lead the development of business case for implementing any changes in the existing working approach, overall asset utilization practice to enhance the effective return from the existing classes of asset in ADNOC Distribution. Lead and ensure that all asset optimization projects and initiatives get adequate support and sponsorship from all user department and leadership. Continuously monitor and review the progress of the projects and take mitigating action in collaboration with user department to ensure that all optimization projects achieve the intended objectives Fuel Analytics Oversee and fuel analytics studies and ensure effective collaboration with business accurate and comprehensive collection, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of fuel performance related data. Validate and approve submission of fuel analytics and performance reports including validating and cross questioning the quality and sources of data, soundness of overall approach and methodology and inferences derived etc. Business Process Optimization Guide in the development of overall plan and strategy including identification of business areas for conducting process feasibility studies, optimization targets, new initiatives, resource mobilization etc. ensure that it is in line with ADNOC Distribution priorities and corporate objectives. Lead and oversee the various collaborative studies and analysis with user departments across ADNOC Distribution to identify process inefficiencies and optimization opportunities. Oversee the development of business case for the proposed changes and new initiatives to improve overall service delivery and process quality metrics. Ensure full support including appropriate tools and methodologies, related literature is given to businesses for conducting analysis of their business processes. Work on collaborative basis to improve overall methodology and approaches for conducting process optimization assessment. Report Development Lead development and delivery of presentations, story boards, etc. regarding optimization initiatives, projects and overall asset and process performance to Board Advisory Committee (BAC), executive management of ADNOC Distribution, ADNOC HQ teams etc. Direct the process of ensuring the integrity, accuracy and validity of operational data received from end users pertaining to the business processes, asset performance and fuel analysis etc. Lead the development of timely, accurate and complete progress reports in order to update the management on development and consolidation of individual functional and subsidiary business plans. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal All division and function heads in ADNOC Distribution ELT External Government and strategic clients Consultants ADNOC HQ QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification MBA in Strategy, Finance or any other relevant discipline Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills 10 years of experience across various functions in Oil and Gas Retailer including Strategy, Corporate Planning, Retail, Operations, Projects etc. with minimum 3-4 years in position of increasing managerial responsibility Regional exposure and retail background are a plus. Innovative and conceptual thinking In depth knowledge of ADNOC Distribution's business objectives, operations and of the regional laws and regulations Strategic thinking
