Assume full responsibility for managing and overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of dish preparation and punctual delivery Collaborate effectively with the Chef de Partie and other kitchen personnel to meticulously create and execute menu items Strictly adhere to and enforce food safety standards and hygiene regulations without exception Contribute to the development of innovative recipes and menu items, demonstrating advanced culinary expertise and creativity Implement and maintain a rigorous system for proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste and preserve optimal freshness Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff, fostering a professional and results-driven work environment Actively engage in regular kitchen meetings to address critical matters such as menu modifications, special events, and operational enhancements Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area, including all equipment and workstations Conduct thorough inventory management and oversee the procurement of supplies for your designated section Demonstrate unwavering adaptability to shifting priorities and maintain professional composure during high-pressure service periods

Qualifications



The following qualifications are essential for this role:

Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to presentation excellence. A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a comparable position, preferably within a 5-star hotel environment. Proven ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Comprehensive knowledge and practical application of Food Hygiene standards and HACCP principles to ensure strict adherence to safe working practices within the kitchen. Superior communication and organisational skills, coupled with impeccable grooming standards befitting a professional kitchen environment.
