Demi Chef de Partie
Position: Demi Chef de Partie (Junior Section Chef)
Report to: Chef de Partie & Sous Chef
Salary: AED 4,000 per month
Joining: Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Chef de Partie in the efficient running of a specific section, such as grill, saute, larder, or pastry. Your primary focus will be on preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate that leaves the kitchen. Expertise in European, Mediterranean, or American cuisine is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Section Preparation: Assist in the daily preparation and mis-en-place for your designated section.
• Cooking & Execution: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring portion control and consistency.
• Quality Control: Maintain the highest quality and freshness of all dishes, reporting any issues to the Chef de Partie.
• Stock Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels, conducting stock rotation (FIFO), and minimizing waste.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene in your section, adhering to all HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other sections to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
• Learning & Development: Actively learn and develop new skills under the guidance of senior chefs, demonstrating a strong desire for progression.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of 1-2 years in a professional kitchen, preferably as a Commis Chef ready for promotion.
• Solid foundational knowledge and practical experience in European, Mediterranean, or American cuisine.
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure during busy service periods.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• A team-oriented mindset with a positive and hard-working attitude.
• Available to join immediately or at short notice.
