Job Description
To lead the Demand Management, S&OP and POR process for Climate MEA region working closely with the sales organization and will be the pivotal point of contact for the HK-HQ and all other manufacturing/sourcing locations. In this role the candidate will also support the leadership team with management reports as required. Take ownership of the Pricing administration of all Climate products in MEA ensuring compliance to the process working closely with the leadership team in MEA and staying coordinated with the Business Verticals and Sales organization. Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Work closely with all the Sales leaders in the region to understand the demand pattern of the customers and roll up the consolidated MEA demand plan.
- Be a part of the demand management team of the various Emerson Climate plants and provide accurate monthly forecasts thereby improving our service to customers
- Lead the S&OP process for MEA to understand and forecast demand of the MEA region and be to communicate the same to the various plant
- Interacting with the sales teams closely should be able to gauge the business situation and make sense of the forecasts provided and be able to independently communicate the business situation to AP-HQ.
- Support MEA management team with reports/data/powerpoints as and when required to enable them to make informed decisions and assist with business reviews
- Be the gate keeper and ensure that the pricing guideline are fully complied with in the MEA region for all Climate products.
- Ensure all pricing in the data base is updated as per guidelines, in coordination with finance/marketing org. as needed and after necessary approvals are obtained
- Stay engaged with sales organization to understand the competitive environment and pricing and look for opportunities to maximize profitability by running low margin reports and coming up with more cost-effective alternatives
- Control pricing at enquiry/order stage for any deviation and support the sales organization with pricing inputs so that quotations are turned around promptly.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree
- 5-10yrs Overall Work Experience with good excel, analytical and communication skills.
- Highly Motivated, Action Oriented with Excellent Communication Skills
- Customer Focused with good people skills
- Collaborative and Strong Team Player
- Willingness to travel
