Description

• 10 years of related work experience with at least 5 years spent in a leadership role with an accredited higher education institution. UAE / Middle east experience will be considered as an advantage
• Experience in accreditation systems such as participation in accreditation visits to institutions as a team member, chair etc., in a regional or national accrediting body.
• Evidence of having earned the rank of "Professor".
• Specialized expertise in quality management, institutional research, strategic planning, business process re-engineering, and/or quantitative methods
• Strong understanding of the application of statistical measurement tools within higher education
• Previous exposure to full cycle of accreditation processes and assessments with any accrediting body
• Experience directing research and statistical studies on accreditation and institutional effectiveness issues
• A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology
• Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization and with appropriate external stakeholders
• Highly developed organizational, communication and presentation skills
• Strong management and leadership skills as exhibited by experience in effectively leading a team and/or chairing committees
• Overseas work experience within a multi-cultural environment would be advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to AED35,000.00 per month

• Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
