Data Quality/ Cataloguing Specialist (EDC, IDQ, Axon) Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Quality/Catalog Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our organization's data. They will work with the Informatica Technology Stack focused on Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and Intelligent Data Quality (IDQ) to maintain high-quality data standards and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, maintain and support data quality standards and procedures - Monitor and improve data quality in EDC and IDQ - Work closely with stakeholders to identify data quality issues and provide solutions - Identify and resolve data quality issues through data profiling and analysis - Create and maintain data lineage and data dictionaries - Work with the EDC tool to build data catalog metadata including data mappings, business terms, and technical definitions - Implement data governance policies and procedures - Provide training and support for data quality and catalog tool usage - Participate in cross-functional teams to support data initiatives Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Informatica certification in Data Governance, IDQ or Axon - 3 years of experience in data quality and data cataloging using EDC and IDQ - Strong knowledge of the Informatica Technology Stack, EDC, and IDQ - Familiarity with data governance concepts and practices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously BONUS POINTS FOR HAVING : - Informatica Data Engineering Integration (DEI/DEQ) - 3 years of hands-on experience Data Governance products like IBM IGC, MSFT Purview, Alation, Collibra (ref:hirist.com)
