About the opportunity

As a Data Governance Manager within our UAE Avanade Analytics practice, you\'ll operate at the forefront of technology, working with some of the best clients in the world, helping to solve some of their most challenging problems. You will also be partnering with our Analytics teams to develop and implement a data governance framework to ensure data quality, privacy, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements, which will also include establishing and enforcing data-related policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.

What you will love doing

As a Data Governance leader, you will play an imperative role in partnering with our Analytics Leaders in the UAE region to help set-up the data governance frameworks and ensure continued compliance with updates to data privacy laws and regulations. Additionally, this may also include defining and monitoring data quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

You look forward to partnering with stakeholders across both global and regional teams to collaborate and identify data-related requirements and assess risks to data quality and security.

Additionally, as a Data Governance SME, you will have the opportunity to guide and train others on data governance best practice.

What skills are we interested in you having?

You revel in success, with a demonstrable track record in leading and growing long term, high value client relationships across varied industry groups. This includes experience in solutioning for data governance, including excellent understanding of data governance principles and best practice industry standards, as well as proven experience in developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards/ regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

As a tech leader with impeccable people leadership capabilities, you will have led delivery teams, providing technical guidance and direction leveraging your deep knowledge of Data Governance.

As an active technology leader within the Data Governance and Analytics community, you regularly share your knowledge on bleeding edge topics in the community and internal events.
