Job Overview
The Data Capability Manager will lead strategic initiatives in data platform capabilities and web development using Microsoft Azure. You will mentor a high-performing team, integrate diverse data sources, and deliver modern user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend and UI development, Azure environments, scalable data engineering, and enterprise-grade integrations.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and developers, ensuring high performance and alignment with business goals
• Architect and develop full-stack solutions, including ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and Azure-based services
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of data applications and integrations
• Implement and oversee UI development with JavaScript, jQuery, Medtronic UI, HTML/CSS, and Bootstrap
• Create scalable, reusable data assets with strong governance and security
• Ensure reliable integration with external APIs including token-based authentication and Graph API
• Develop Azure Function Apps using Python (OOP) and manage cloud services like Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, and App Services
• Utilize advanced database technologies including SQL Server, MongoDB, and CosmosDB
• Oversee complex analytics projects using Spark SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and other modern data platforms
• Collaborate across departments to meet evolving technical and business demands

Reporting & MIS

• Report to the Data Engineering Lead and provide regular updates on project milestones and team performance
• Monitor KPIs for platform scalability, data reliability, and development efficiency

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data platforms and full stack development
• At least 5 years focused on web-based data management solutions
• Deep understanding of Azure DevOps, GIT, cloud APIs, and authentication frameworks
• Strong knowledge of non-relational databases like MongoDB and CosmosDB
• Background in building end-to-end data pipelines, analytics solutions, and system integrations
• UAE National is a mandatory requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; certifications in data platform tools preferred
• Bonus: Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, SAP BW/BO/ERP, ETL tools
