The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting operational, financial, and commercial data from the factory and bakery.
The role aims to:
Improve product and service quality.
Enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Strengthen customer experience and satisfaction.
Support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Management:
Collect data from multiple systems (POS, ERP, inventory management, HR systems).
Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Integrate and consolidate data from different sources for reporting.
2. Analysis & Reporting:
Prepare periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for senior management.
Analyze customer behavior and product performance to identify seasonal patterns and best/worst-performing items.
Benchmark branch and factory performance to highlight strengths and weaknesses.
Provide actionable insights to increase sales and reduce costs.
3. Dashboards & Visualization:
Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Ensure management has quick access to key performance indicators (KPIs).
4. Quality & Customer Service:
Analyze customer complaints and feedback data.
Monitor product quality (temperature, shelf life, compliance with standards).
Link complaints data to operational performance to minimize repeated issues.
5. Administrative & Cross-Functional Support:
Provide data analysis support to Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR departments.
Conduct special studies upon request (e.g., evaluating new branch opportunities, supplier price comparisons).
Contribute to marketing and promotional strategies through market trend analysis.
Required Skills
Proven experience in the Food & Beverage / Retail Food sector (mandatory).
Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Data Analysis).
Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database querying.
Good understanding of statistical analysis applied to food operations (waste, customer satisfaction, production cycles).
Excellent data presentation and visualization skills.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst within the Food & Beverage / Retail Food industry.
Experience working with sales, operations, and quality-related data in F&B.
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
