Role Overview:

The Cybersecurity Management & Monitoring Engineer will play a pivotal role in DeepSource Technologies' efforts to safeguard the organization's information systems and data. You will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to detect and mitigate risks, as well as collaborating with various teams to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain cybersecurity monitoring systems, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response solutions. Continuously analyze alerts and logs to identify potential security incidents, ensuring timely and effective incident response. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to evaluate the security of systems and networks. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with industry regulations. Work closely with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement security best practices. Prepare and present reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and recommendations for improvements to management and stakeholders. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to enhance the organization's security measures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Management and Monitoring roles. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and compliance regulations. Experience with security monitoring tools, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
