Job Summary

The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of photocopiers, printers, and multifunction office equipment, ensuring optimal performance and superior customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Roles & Responsibilities

Install, configure, and test printers and photocopiers at client locations. Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and network-related issues in copiers, printers, and scanners. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Manage and document service calls, maintaining accurate service records. Provide technical support and user training on equipment operation and maintenance. Ensure timely response to customer service requests and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Handle / Maintain properly spare parts, tools, and consumables etc. Coordinate with the technical team and Service Manager for complex or escalated cases. Stay updated with the latest firmware, technologies, and service bulletins. Comply with company policies, safety protocols, and service quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Degree

Hardware, Electronics, Electrical, or a related technical field.

2-5 years

of hands-on experience in servicing photocopiers and printers. Strong knowledge of photocopier mechanics, electronics, and basic networking. Knowledge in MPS/print management solutions. Proven experience in installation, configuration, and calibration of printing devices. Excellent communication and customer-handling skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently. Valid driving license preferred. Locally available candidates in Qatar are preferred.
