We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Customer Service Assistant to join our school canteen team. The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service. This role involves serving food, operating the cashier, assisting students, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to students and staff at all times.
Serve food and beverages efficiently, courteously, and in line with portion and menu guidelines.
Operate the cashier system accurately, handling payments and student cards.
Assist with problem-solving and respond positively to customer inquiries or concerns.
Follow strict food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
Support the team with canteen setup, restocking, and cleaning duties.
Work collaboratively to keep service areas running smoothly during busy times.
Requirements:
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
Commitment to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
