We are currently recruiting for a Customer Operations Coordinator for our trusted client, to be based out of their Dubai office.

Purpose-

To serve customers by taking responsibility of commercial relationship management for a defined group of customers and proactively liaising with other functions (Account Management, Supply Chain, etc) to ensure that the full range of services are deployed in line with customer segmentation.

Accountabilities-

• Accountable for CRC activities of Key Accounts including global distributor account being served from the Dubai office.
• Acting as focal point to support the Customer Operations Manager on all CRC activities.
• Understand commercial and logistics customer requirement and constraints.
• Understand volume and price agreement with context and execute orders accordingly.
• Identify HSSE operational delivery risk, intervene were required and share dilemma's.
• Understand customer cost to serve actual vs planned and manage spend via Continuous Improvement Ways of working.
• Act as the primary customer contact (so called one stop shop approach for customers) to process customer orders efficiently and error free and deal with any customer queries or complaints. This includes order capture in Chemicals SAP (P31), resolution of obstacles to commitment (product supply, commercial, transport, HSE and finance), confirmation, progression, order-amendments, Letter of Credit review (where applicable), invoicing, cash collection and managing complaints.
• Pro-actively liaise with the Account Executive to ensure credit issues are resolved with support from the credit organization as appropriate, receivables processes run smoothly, and overdue payments are collected effectively without jeopardizing customer relationship.
• The CRC has joint ownership with the Account Executive for the cash collection process.
• Ensure customer master data is kept up to date, both in systems and in files. Make sure that control, legal and fiscal requirements are met and that evidence/authorizations are kept safely and rigorously for audit purpose.
• Liaise with contracted 3rd party logistics service providers such as freight forwarders, supply points (third party suppliers and depots) and banks to ensure customer orders are fulfilled safely and satisfactorily and problems are resolved efficiently and timely.
• Operationalize the Dubai terminal replenishment shipments as per the S&OP handshake.
• Manage Chemicals the Dubai terminal supply demand balance including inventory for UAE, including gain and loss.
• Actively utilize available platforms for supply planning.
• Skill on trade compliance for import and export of chemicals in the Middle East.
• Knowledge and Focal point on Records Management.

• Experience in chemical bulk liquids transport or logistics operations is preferred.
• Fluent in English and at least one relevant other language
• Knowledge on Letter of Credits for managing customer payment methods.

• Ability to become a trusted advisor and understand customers wants and need.
• Good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Self-motivating and able to work in a virtual community.
• Proactive and decisive problem solver with good root cause analysis skills.
• Familiar with HSSE barrier thinking and able to share dilemmas with Edge and Honesty
• Being able to translate logistics solutions into options for which the cost can be recovered for the customer.
• Competent in use of IT systems (especially SAP and Excel).
• Experience with Order to Cash process, covering product quality, Incoterms and export regulations and letters of credit.
