Job Description

Job Purpose:

To oversee and execute the mechanical and electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and demobilization of crushing and screening plants, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Erection & Demobilization:

Supervise and carry out the installation and dismantling of crushing and screening plants on-site. Coordinate equipment positioning, alignment, and foundation as per layout and engineering specs.

Maintenance & Repair:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of crushers, screens, conveyors, motors, control panels, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and auto-electrical faults on heavy equipment and plant machinery.

Electrical & Auto-Electrical Work:

Handle wiring, panel connections, and motor control circuits. Carry out electrical diagnostics and repairs on plant equipment and associated vehicles or generators. Ensure adherence to industrial safety standards during electrical works.

Operational Support:

Conduct regular inspections and report issues related to plant performance. Provide technical support during machine startup and shutdown. Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory for job readiness.

Documentation & Reporting:

Record all maintenance activities, issues encountered, and solutions implemented. Coordinate with site managers and supervisors regarding plant readiness and mobilization plans.

Key Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in

Mechanical Engineering

Industrial Electrical

,

Auto-Electrical

, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum

5 years

hands-on experience in the crushing and screening plant industry. Proven ability in

plant erection, breakdown troubleshooting

, and

multi-discipline repair work

Skills & Competencies:

Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting ability Experience working with

jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders

Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings Willingness to travel and stay at remote sites as required Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards

Additional Considerations:

UAE driving license Must be physically fit and capable of working in outdoor, rugged environments Team-player with a strong sense of responsibility and self-initiative
