Job Summary:

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for joinery and fit-out projects. The role involves analyzing project requirements, reviewing drawings, pricing materials, labor, and equipment, and submitting detailed quotations and BOQs to support project bids.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery, carpentry, and woodwork elements.

- Calculate quantities, material take-offs, and man-hour requirements.

- Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotes for materials and services.

- Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to clarify requirements.

- Prepare and submit BOQs, quotations, and tender documents.

- Track and update costs, market rates, and supplier pricing regularly.

- Assist in value engineering and alternative cost proposals.

- Support project managers in budget monitoring post-award.

Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.

- Proven experience in joinery/furniture estimation.

- Good knowledge of wood types, finishes, materials, and production processes.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
