Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical

Cost Estimation and Expense Control Specialist

to join our Facility Management Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial estimates for tenders and projects, monitoring actual expenditures, and ensuring alignment with approved budgets. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial efficiency and decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for contracts, tenders, and projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractors. Monitor monthly expenditures and compare actual spending with budgeted amounts. Analyze financial variances and produce periodic financial performance reports. Review and evaluate tenders and contracts from a financial perspective. Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, cost estimates, and expenses. Participate in senior management meetings and provide strategic financial input. Identify and assess financial risks to be incorporated in cost planning. Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data sharing.

Candidate Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering. MBA is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial estimation or auditing. Experience in preparing cost studies for tenders. Background in managing expenses for facility management or construction projects.

Skills:

Strong skills in financial analysis and cost estimation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with Facility Management Systems (CAFM/CMMS). Fluency in Arabic and English (reading and writing).
